Meet The Doctors

Tyler W. Ferris, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Ferris was born in San Antonio and raised in Brady, Texas. After earning his bachelor’s degree at Texas A&M University, he gained early acceptance into the number one ranked dental school in the country at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. There he received numerous awards and was valedictorian of his class. He then received his orthodontic specialty training at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas where he was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award for Excellence in Orthodontics. In May 2003, Dr. Ferris was awarded the Earl Shepard Award of Distinction for achieving the highest score in the nation on the American Board of Orthodontics Phase II Examination, which tests one’s knowledge of diagnosis and treatment of various orthodontic problems. He has lectured at the Gorman Institute annual meeting.

Megan Hembree, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Megan Hembree, a native of the West Texas town of Muleshoe and began her career in orthodontics working as a chairside assistant throughout college for Dr. Christopher Anderson in Lubbock. Dr. Hembree graduated first in her class at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School, before completing her Orthodontic residency at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. She has been in private practice in San Antonio since September 2007.

Dr. Hembree was the recipient of numerous awards during her educational experience at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, including:

  • The Award for Excellence in Clinical Dentistry (2005)
  • The William S. Kramer Award of Excellence (2005)
  • The M. Franklin Dolwick Research Award (2004)

Bill Anderson, D.M.D., M.S.

Dr. Anderson has spent the past 19 years serving our country and has had the honor of taking care of military service members and their children as an Officer and Orthodontist in the United States Navy.

Born and raised in southern New Jersey, Dr. Anderson earned his Bachelor’s degree from Saint Joseph’s University and his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2004. Having married his dental school sweetheart, Dr. Peychi Anderson, the two embarked upon their Navy service together and have completed assignments in Guam, the Horn of Africa, Naples, the Naval Academy and Washington, D.C.
